Our group golf courses offer more than just an introduction to the game. They are a chance to step outside the everyday, try something new, and enjoy time together in a relaxed and inspiring setting. No prior golf experience is needed. With expert guidance and a sunny Mallorcan backdrop, your group will enjoy a mix of easy-to-learn golf basics, friendly challenges, and plenty of laughs. It is not about serious competition. It is about shared moments, fresh air, and creating a memory together.

What to expect during your group golf event

We start with a warm welcome and hand out water bottles. Golf clubs are ready in bags, and together we walk to the chipping green.

There, your group gets a light introduction to the sport: what golf is about, how a course is laid out, and how different clubs are used.

Then it is time to try things out. We begin with chipping, learning the basics and practicing short shots toward different flags. A fun contest follows: who can get closest to three different targets?

After a short drink break, we move on to longer shots. Everyone competes in two lighthearted challenges: “Nearest to the 50m Pin” and “Longest Drive That Stays on the Planet.” Points are collected along the way.

We wrap up with putting in front of the clubhouse. After a brief introduction to grip, stance, and distance control, we work on putting accuracy and finish with a putting course and one last scoring challenge.

The goal is simple: a fun shared experience in the sun, no matter the skill level.

Do participants need any golf experience?

No. Our group golf events are designed for complete beginners as well as mixed ability groups. Our PGA Professionals Michel Monnard and Tobias Widmer adapt the activities to the experience level of the participants.

What should participants wear?

Comfortable sports clothing and trainers are perfectly suitable. Golf clothing is not required for introductory group events. To comply with the golf club dress code, we kindly ask participants to avoid sandals, flip flops, beachwear, and spaghetti strap tops. Comfortable athletic shoes and casual sportswear are the perfect choice.

Is golf equipment included?

Yes. We provide golf clubs, practice balls, tees, range fees, and drinking water for all participants.

How many people can participate?

Our events are designed for groups of 5 to 20 participants. Larger groups can be accommodated by adding additional PGA Professionals.

What activities are included?

Depending on the duration of the event, participants experience chipping, driving range practice, putting, and a variety of friendly challenges such as Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and putting competitions.

What happens if some participants have played golf before and others are complete beginners?

No problem. Mixed ability groups are very common. Our PGA Professionals adapt the activities so that beginners can enjoy their first experience while more experienced golfers remain challenged and engaged.

Can we combine the golf event with lunch, dinner, or drinks?

Yes. The clubhouse restaurant and terrace provide an excellent setting before or after your golf activity. We are happy to discuss available options with you.

How long should we book?

Most corporate and group events choose the 2 or 3 hour option. This provides enough time to experience several areas of the game and enjoy the challenges without feeling rushed.

What languages do you teach in?

Our PGA Professionals teach in English, German, Spanish, French, and Swiss German.

Is golf a good activity for team building?

Absolutely. Golf encourages communication, cooperation, problem solving, and shared experiences in a relaxed outdoor environment. It is suitable for colleagues, clients, and business partners of all ages.

Where do the events take place?

All group golf events take place at Capdepera Golf in Mallorca, one of the island’s most scenic golf locations, with a large practice area, clubhouse, restaurant, and a beautiful mediterranean terrace.

Can we organize a private event exclusively for our group?

Yes. Your event is organized exclusively for your group, allowing us to adapt the activities, pace, and challenges to your needs.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during the spring and autumn golf season. This allows us to reserve your preferred date and arrange the required number of instructors.

Can we receive an invoice for our company?

Yes. We regularly work with international companies and can provide an official invoice for corporate events and group bookings.
